I spent a lot of time hiking and exploring the Blue Mountains whilst we lived there, usually dosing myself with a couple of psilocybe subaeruginosa. It was a time of deep introspection for myself and I spent as much time exploring the outside as I did the inside. This was one of those occasions and I was so blown away by these beech wood trees and their gnarly roots clawing to these rocks resonated with me at the time and I tried to capture them with my camera although the resulting photograph didn't really emphasise them very well so I went to town in Photoshop and created this image which I think does a much better job.
